Well, it was so cute today. I worked and then picked up the kids. Becky and Abby came over and then Jim met us at the house. Jason made dinner for everyone. It was a quick and simple meal of cheese dogs and chips. Abby is so adorable with the baby. She had to put the “momitor” on to talk to and sing to the baby. She sang a few songs with Janeen. Then after the singing, they did the Our Father and Pledge of Allegiance to baby Chico.
While eating dinner she was telling me that the baby was asking me questions and I had to answer them. She also asked if she can help change the diapers when the baby comes. She told me she is coming to the hospital to visit with the baby and family when the time comes. She said that when the baby first comes, she will say “cry, baby, cry.” That way the baby can breathe and talk.
Well, Jason and I may be running to Babies R Us tomorrow. I had just gotten an email saying that our whole travel stroller system is being discontinued. I called to see if they had any at the store. They put one on the side for me. Tomorrow I can use a coupon and get some additional money off. So, we are just glad to get it because it is really important to have that to bring the baby home in the car.

Well, the last few days have been hectic. It was quite a busy weekend. We started the childbirth classes on Sunday. They will be happening every other Sunday for the next few weeks. I was a bit nervous going to the first class. Jason was by my side and he made me feel better. He even won a gift for the baby. I was really happy. It will be neat to go to the next 2 classes. The nurses doing the classes are really nice.
Today I had my appt with the doctor. He checked the baby’s heartbeat. It was as strong as ever. I feel calmer every time I go to see the doctor or when I get my ultrasounds done. As of now, I am going to be seeing the doctor every 2 weeks. Then in the last month I will go every week. He was talking to me today. He discussed hoping that I will go full term. He is going to be away for 2 weeks towards the end of my pregnancy. I really hope he is there when the baby decides to come into this world. He will let the doctor on call know my information in case it happens while he is away.
Not too much longer and I will be going for my next ultrasound. I am going to the ultrasound on Aug 7th. It is the day after my mom’s birthday. I will probably have this ultrasound and then possibly one more after that. I cannot believe how time if flying by. I am excited to go to my friend’s baby shower this upcoming Sunday, then mine will be 2 weeks after that. It will be fun and exciting.
Well, I guess I will go for now. The baby is really active and I want to spend time talking to the baby and just having some family time. I will post more again soon. Until then, happy reading and hoping you are all enjoying being involved with learning about the daily and weekly things going on with myself, the baby, and family.

Well, the week has been hectic. The highlight of the week was when we all went to see Weird Al as a family. It was a really great show. Jason and Jr. even got to meet him after the show. Janeen had won 2 meet and greet passes and she let the boys meet him in person.
I was a little nervous at first. I was afraid that the sound might be too much for the baby. We had great seats. I got through the show and the baby moved a few times, but may have been scared. I also thought that if they had little onesies on sale we would buy one for the baby. They did not have any though. Jason said when the baby comes, we can tell him or her about it. We will say “when you were negative 2 months old, you were at your first concert.”
It was really nice to do things as a family. Even my brothers and my nephew were there. All in all I think everyone had a great time. Well, the next few weeks are going to be hectic ones. Sundays are busy for the next 5 weeks. Between childbirth classes and showers, I will be running around. But then that means time is getting closer and more exciting. Well, hope to post more. I will have my doctors appt on Monday and then the next ultrasound on the 7th of Aug. So, hopefully I will post more soon.

I found a site today called Geni.com. It’s a free service that allows you to setup your family tree, the nice part is that other members of your family can join the tree and add the information they know. It is all web based, and you have the ability to print the tree as well. I have really lost touch with most of my family, and would love to have everybodies help in getting back in touch. Please feel free to sign up for a free account and add what information you can. We are working on putting everything we know into the account now. Plus this will be nice for the children to have when they get older, and know the history of the Percival family.
Here is a link directly to our geni.com account. I have also put a link in the site navigation to the left.
Thank you all, and hope to hear from everyone soon.

I cannot believe how amazing it is to feel this little one. This baby is what we call…mini ninja. It has been so active the last few weeks. It seems like certain times throughout the day the baby is more active, but it is constantly going. I am so glad to feel it so much. We actually are starting to see it through my tummy.
Becky, Jim and Abby stopped by after church today. We were listening to the baby with the monitor. It was the sweetest little thing when Abby started singing to the baby. It seemed like the baby enjoyed it because he or she got more active. It is amazing that it will not be too long until we meet this little one.
We are going to be busy the next 5 Sundays in a row. Between childbirth classes and baby showers, it will be running on Sundays. I am going to a co-workers shower and I will be having mine in a month. It is so amazing how time is flying by. I am enjoying most of being pregnant. I do not like the heat and swollen feet though. It will be so awesome for the time to come and we can meet our newest member of the family. I am hoping that more people continue to call so I can se my friends and family at the shower.
Well, until then…enjoy the blog and I will keep posting as much as I can.

Well here they are everybody. I’ve uploaded two pictures from today’s 4-D ultrasound. The first one is a profile picture of the baby, and the second one is the same picture edited with the locations of the features present in the picture.

Just wanted to make a quick post. Things are going well. I went for my next ultrasound today. It was really cool and pretty amazing to see how this tiny being can be inside of me and wiggling around. The doctor said that things are progressing very nicely. It is always good to hear. It makes me feel calmer. I used to worry in the beginning that something would go wrong because of the past miscarriages. I would try not to worry, but it was always in the back of my mind.
The baby is doing well and is actually about 3lbs 4ozs now. Everything looks normal and healthy that she can see so far. She actually said that the baby may end up to be around 9 pounds if it keeps growing at this rate. It was awesome to see the baby in 3D. We actually not only got the video, but she also printed out a picture for us as well. I like going to this doctor for the ultrasounds. She is wonderful. She said I should only be there about 2 more times. It is kind of weird and amazing to think that the baby will be coming soon.
Jason is going to put the picture up of the baby. It is not the perfect picture since I am only 28 weeks and the baby was further back, but it is still awesome. Well, hopefully I can post again soon and every can enjoy the blog. My next doctor’s appointment is July 28th and my next ultrasound is August 7. I can’t wait. Also, I got great news that my sugars are still doing well and I do not have gestational diabetes. I just have to continue what I am doing. Well, until then….happy reading.

Well, it was a busy weekend. I had to go for the glucose test. It was only the one hour test, so it was not too bad. I had one done before. Hopefully the doctor will say it is still within a good range. But I am doing my best to stay away from sugars and salts and caffeine as well. But, I have always tried to do that, even before getting pregnant.
I go for my next ultrasound on Tuesday. It is always so wonderful to see more and more things. I feel calmer knowing that this baby is still strong and healthy. I am also excited because now that I am 28 weeks she can try to do the 3D ultrasound that looks more like a photograph rather than the snowy picture.
My next doctors appointment is towards the end of the month. I can’t wait until Oct to see the little one in person. It will be so wonderful. I have been so tired the last week or so. At least there won’t be as much running around with the kids now that softball. Well, happy reading and I will post more again soon.

Well, I am officially at 7 months today. I am so happy to have gotten this far along. Things are getting good. The baby has been very active the last week or so. I guess room is getting a little smaller for the baby. I have been feeling pretty good, but I have been really tired.
I am starting to get excited. My mom and sister had sent out the invitations for the baby shower. I can’t wait to see who responds and is coming. It should be a nice time. Jason is happy that he was able to get the room painted and the border on. It will be nice to be able to set things up once we get what we need.
I guess I will post again soon. I have my next ultrasound next Tuesday and then see the doctor at the end of the month. Hopefully Jason will be able to digitize the ultrasounds and then be able to put them on here. So, until next time….happy reading and hopefully everyone is enjoying the blog.
