Well, the night went pretty well. Juliana slept until 11 or so then got up again at 4am. Then we all got up to get ready for the doctor. She was the first appointment for the day. We had a later appointment scheduled, but the doctor had to leave early so we had gotten it switched a few days ago.

Jason was going to go, but he went to work and Ada came with us. We picked him up and off we went. The appointment was quick, but went well. Dr. Harris checked her over. She has gained weight and grew 2 inches. She went from 19 and 1/2 to 21 inches long. Her weight went from 8lbs 6oz down to 7lbs 10oz at her last appointment and up to 8lbs 14oz at this appointment.

While out, I picked up some stuff from the grocery store while Juliana slept in the car with my dad. It was good to get everything done. We are probably going down to my parent’s house later since it is my brother’s birthday. There may be some cake. Then we have to drop Jason off for his basketball tryouts.

Also we got the finalization of the baptism. We are going to have the baby baptized on Nov. 2nd at 1pm. So, all in all it has been a good day so far. The baby ate for a bit and now is fast asleep. Hopefully she will be as alert now as she was at the doctor’s office. Well, hope to post again soon. Her next appointment with the doctor is not until Dec. 1st at 9:30, so we will post other things before then. Well, happy reading.

Well, Juliana is 2 weeks old already. I can’t believe how the days are flying by. We have been mainly here at the house. Things are going pretty well. Many nights are pretty well. She has had a few nights that we did not get much sleep. I have been trying to keep her up more during the day and then she is sleeping better at night.

I called the church today to see about setting up a day for her to be christened. I will hopefully get that information squared away by the end of the week. Tomorrow is her next appointment with the pediatrician. Her appt actually got rescheduled for an earlier time. We will be there for 9am. Hopefully we will find out that she is gaining more weight. She has been eating quite well.

I am glad she is in my life. It is amazing to see how great Jason and the kids are with her as well. I just wanted to make a quick post. I will post again with an update of her doctor’s appointment. Until then, happy reading.

Just wanted to make a quick post. Things have been hectic since the baby. Her first two nights home were kind of hard. Juliana had her nights and days mixed up. She seems to be getting a bit better now. She is such a wonderful addition to our family. I love having our complete little family here.

We had the first appointment with the pediatrician today. Things are well so far. We go back to see him on Oct 16th. It was a day of firsts….first dr appt, first ride in stroller, first time at Grammy and Ada’s house. Even first birthday attended. My grandfather turned 84 today. So, for dinner we had pizza at my parent’s house and then a cake for him. It was funny because today is my grandfather’s birthday and them Juliana’s next dr appt is on Uncle Matt’s birthday.

Well, hopefully I can post again soon. I am trying to do as much as I can, but still kind of sore from the surgery. I hope to post more often with new experiences. I just love being a mom to all the kids. It’s nice to get to experience from the beginning this time. She is just the most precious thing that I have experienced. In a way I was a bit sad to not still feeling her from the inside, but this is so much better. I just want to make sure she is safe and nothing will happen to her, or the other children as well.

Anyway, I will go for now. Hopefully, you all enjoy the blog posts and pictures and will keep checking in to see the progress of our miracle.

It’s a girl!

We are proud to introduce Juliana Christine Percival. Born September 29th 2008 at 12:28pm. She weighes in at 8lbs 6ozs and 19 1/2 inches long.

Well, I cannot believe that time is almost here. Tomorrow we are going into the hospital to meet our bundle of joy. It is going to be so exciting. We will finally find out if it is a boy or a girl. I am getting a little nervous. I  have never been through this before. It will be worth it when everything is said and done.

It has been a long journey. It has been a good ride up until close to the end. Now that I am at the end, it had gotten harder. I ended up getting put on bed rest and then had to be monitored at the hospital for a bit. Things seem like they are going well so far. I will be so happy to be able to hold the little one in my arms.

Well, hopefully Jason will post a bit because I will be in the hospital for a few days and hopefully he can put some updates and possibly pictures on here. I will try to post when I can, but I also know that this will be a hectic time getting used to everything with having the new baby.

I cannot believe we are down to single digits as of today. There are only 9 more days until the baby arrives. I am getting excited and a bit nervous as well. It is so amazing to think in a little over a week, we finally get to meet our little one. Jason has done a great job with getting everything ready for the day to arrive.

I will try to keep posting as much as possible. I will post again after my next appointment which will be taking place on Monday. I only have one more week of work left and then it will be time off for baby. I am ready to meet this little one. I am getting excited to finally see if the baby is a boy or girl and to see what the baby looks like. Well, enjoy the quick post.

Well this weekend was quite interesting. Friday was a normal day. Then Saturday came along. The kids and I were doing stuff around the house while Jason was working. Then 5pm comes along. Well, from that point on it was not a good night. I started having contractions. I  thought they would just go away, but they did not. Jason started timing them and they were getting closer and stronger. Well, after a while, I called the doctor on call. He said to lay down and drink water. If they didn’t go away, then go to labor and delivery.

Well, we end up going up to the hospital after some time. The contractions were getting stronger and closer together. So, I get admitted and then they do some tests and put me on monitors. After that I was given some pain medicine and ended up being monitored all night. I got checked again in the morning and was told that I can go home. So, no baby at this point. I guess it will be coming shortly though. I have been trying to take it easy today. We had some company over and I just relaxed while everyone was here. I am also trying to stay as hydrated as I can get. I see the doctor again tomorrow and hopefully we get to find out if this baby is waiting for 2 weeks to be born or coming closer.

Well, had my next appointment today. Things are going well. The baby seems like it is moving down a little bit. I got through with my appointment and since my doctor will be on vacation the next 2 weeks, I am going to see the doctor who is covering for him. Dr. Kim thinks that I will not go into labor until he is back from vacation, but we will see how that goes.

I was given my paperwork for the C-Section that is scheduled for Sept. 29th. I have to get some stuff done beforehand and once that blood work and such is done on Sept 27th, then we are good to go for the 29th. I cannot believe that the baby is only 3 weeks away. I am hoping that we can get all the details finished before the baby comes. Well, hopefully I will post again next week. I am going to see the doctor next Monday. I will keep all posted of any news going on in the baby world. Until then, enjoy the post.
